Instructions:
Step 1: Mold your beak from clay. Include a spot in the back with a hole in it to attach to the body of your bird. If you are sculpting a different animal you may not need to mold anything.
This will need to dry at least 24 hours before you can continue working with it.

Step 2: Shape the body with paper wads or plastic bags, tape to secure.
Step 3: Attach the head to the body using a pipe cleaner, unwrap a cotton ball and re-wrap it around the pipe-cleaner connecting the beak to the body to create the head.

Step 4: Form your two feet, each with twisting two pipe-cleaners together.
Step 5: Attach the feet to the body of your bird so that your bird with stand or prop up.

Step 6 Wrap your bird in strips of fabric to conceal any of the paper, tape, or pipe cleaners.

Step 7: Dress the bird! Use anything you find that would make some good clothes for your bird! No naked birds!
