This lesson will teach you how to create a watercolor leaf painting that will utilize the watercolor techniques you have previously learned
Before you complete this project you should first complete the Watercolor Techniques assignments.

Step by Step Instructions
1. Draw Leaves with a pencil then trace your design with a SHARPIE marker (so that watercolor painting over it will not make the ink bleed out).

Use the full paper to make your design

overlap in some areas to create a complex composition

Use pictures of leaves from the internet to help you with drawing the shapes if necessary.
2. Paint the background, use any colors or techniques you want!
3. Paint the foreground, use any techniques you want.
4. Finishing touches

I chose to add contour lines to my painting.
5. Spray: I sprayed mine, you can if you want. Keep it light! Do not over do it!
