How to make PLARN (plastic yarn)
Plarn is a great way to recycle. It can be used in many different ways. I use it to crochet NONdispible grocery totes and bags. Plarn makes a great beach bag because it is waterproof and sand will fall through.
Materials
Plastic shopping bags
fabric scissors
The following youtube video gave me my inspiration for using plarn to produce non-disposable products.
Steps:
1. Flatten your bag
2. cut the end and the handles off.
2. fold over neatly several times
3. cut into about one half inch chunks
4. link the chains together
