Several pieces of Card stock (contrasting colors)
X-Acto Knife
Pencil (or color pencil)
Cutting mat
Elmer's glue
paint brush
Sharpie marker (optional

Card Stock Box
Steps:
Step 1
Look up an image of what you want to turn into your paper mola. Keep it simple, cartoon like or animal outlines. Pick your first layer color in card stock.
Step 2 - Drawing
Draw a border on your first layer and then draw your figure and add a border to it as well. Then fill your entire paper with designs that will be cut and will be other colors in the end. Each color is another piece of card stock.
Step 3
Color in what will NOT be cut out of your first layer. This is an important step! Do not skip it!
Step 4
Cut what IS NOT colored from the first layer. THE BACK IS ACTUALLY THE FRONT!!
Step 5
Pick your second layer color, glue the drawing side to the second layer.
Step 6
Cut away what is going to be different colors. Repeat step 6 and 7 until you complete your colors. 5-6 colors is probably enough, but this is up to you.
Finishing touches
Paint/Draw anything you want to be added to the front.
