Crayons on Construction Paper

Level 2

In this lesson you will do your best to capture the true color and value from your image.

Time:

2-3 class periods

Materials for this lesson include the following:

Pencil

construction paper

crayons

image of a person or animal (or whatever really)

Begin with outlines, then begin applying color and blending the best you can, my advice is to use lots of colors and values.

Assignment

1. Complete your drawing.

2. Upload your artwork to your portfolio under "crayon on construction paper".
