"Selfie"
Level 1
In this project you can make a "selfie" and put it on any scent you can imagine!
Time:
2-3 class periods
Materials for this lesson include the following:
Selfie picture (any) printed
Clear Plastic
Sharpie/Ink
Brush
Acrylic Paint
Oil Pastels
Background of your choice

Instructions
1. Send Ms. Moore a selfie to her e-mail the day before you plan to start this project.

2. Scratch one side of your clear sheet with sand paper, basically turn it white with scuffs all over.
3. Use paper clips to attach your printed selfie to your clear sheet, with the scuffed side UP.
4. Outline your selfie and everything in it with either a black sharpie or brush the outlines and black spaces with ink and let it dry.
5. Shade your selfie.
6. Place your selfie in front of any background. You can attach it with glue or tape, or you can place it on different ones and use your phone (WITH PERMISSION) to take different selfies.
Have fund with it!!
7. Upload all your images to your artsonia portfolio under "selfie".
Assignment
1. Draw your hands 5 times. Preferably on the same paper. Create an interesting composition by overlapping and drawing your hand in different positions.
2. Pick 5 different things to draw and create at least 3 drawings that focus on line. Again, creating an interesting composition.
3. 8-10 drawings should be uploaded into your portfolio with the title "contour and gesture line drawing"
